If you know how much you would like to order, select a weight from the Weight dropdown, along with the required Quantity. For example, if you would like 300g, select 100g from the Weight dropdown and 3 for Quantity. The price shown will be what you are charged after delivery.

If you don't know the weight you require and simply would like your container filling, select Fill my container from the Weight dropdown. Add any additional instructions (for example, half-fill my container, fill to the blue line etc.) as required. The price will revert to £0 and you will be charged based on the actual weight after the delivery has been made.
So that we can refill all sorts of containers, as well as top up containers that are not yet completely empty, we do everything by weight. That means we work in kilograms and grams, and not litres and millilitres as you might expect for liquids. And whilst 100ml of water weighs 100g, that's not the case for other liquids which may weigh more or less than water. Without diving into a full-scale science lesson, here are a couple of examples to help show the implications of this:

1. Olive oil weighs less than water - a litre of olive oil weighs about 0.920kg. So if the olive oil is priced at £12.00/kg, that works out at about £11.04/litre.

2. Some liquids, like hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and washing up liquid, weigh slightly more than water. For example, a litre of hand soap weighs about 1.040kg. So if the hand soap is priced at £4.80/kg, that works out at about £4.99/litre.
